RIVER ADVENTURE GUIDES TRAINING Campbell River / Bella Coola BC
This training program takes place over a 17 day period with weeks off. Once all four (4) courses are complete, the full River Adventure Guides Certification will be awarded. The following certifications are awarded during this time frame.
White Water Rafting Guide Training (Class 2 Rivers)
Swift Water Rescue Training
Standard First First Aid
Commercial Bear Viewing Guide Certificate

All training is NFPA 1006 / 1670 compliant. Our training adheres to both the BC Commercial River Rafting Registrar's 2002 Guide and Transport Canada's Special Purpose Vessels Regulations SOR / 2008 - 121.
Solstice Recreation Group is a member of the NFPA which governs Swift Water Rescue Training. We are Fire Officer / Fire Service Instructor certified with IFSAC Seals. We are also a member of the BC River Outfitters Association.
This 12 day training course delivers 4 certifications. You will operate learn to safely operate a river raft on class 2 waters as outlined with Transport Canada. Swift Water Rescue, Standard First Aid with CPR "C" and Commercial Bear View Guide Training is also part of your program. All equipment is provided in your training. Please ensure both medical and waiver forms are complete by the morning of day one. Your course is delivered from 8:30 - 4:30 M-F.

Learn how to safely operate a River Raft in Class 2 water
Earn your Standard First Aid with CPR "C" First Aid certification.
Learn essential life saving skills while working around Swift Water. NPFA 1006 / 1670 training standards are utilized during this training.
Earn your Commercial Bear Viewing Guide Certification from the Commercial Bear Viewing Association of BC.
