We have been providing a number of Outdoor Recreation, and Industry Safety training programs since 1993. We are proud members of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) which regulates Wildland Firefighter, Swift Water Rescue, Hazardous Materials and Rope Rescue Training. We are members of the BC Wilderness Association, BC River Outfitters Association and other great training partners such as the BC Fire Training Officers Association.
Our training staff's employment background includes working with the Canadian Coast Guard, BC Ambulance, Department of National Defence and Municipal Fire Services. Training staffs current certification include Fire Officer / Instructor qualified with IFSAC Seals as well current BCEMA Paramedic registration / license. We are also Canadian Heart and Stroke BLS / First Aid Instructor certified, Canadian Red Cross Emergency Care Instructors and WorksafeBC OFA 3 Instructors.
Our instructors bring decades of guiding and instruction experience in British Columbia. We have worked with Provincial and Federal agencies, non-profit agencies, school districts and First Nation communities. Delivering safe and comprehensive programming is one of our founding principles - with an impeccable safety record.
We are also members of the BC Wildlife Federation, American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA), BC River Outfitters Association and Paddle Canada, and the Wilderness Association of BC. We are happy to provide Alpine, Rock Climbing, Rafting, Canoeing and Expedition programs. We train and guide on British Columbia's Northwest and Central Coast. We also utilize key locations in and around Vancouver Island.
