This two (2) day course packs tons of learning within the time frame. By the end of the course you will feel confident enough to venture out with your buddy to your local climbing crag and begin setting up your own bottom managed systems.

Traditional Lead Climbing Course

If you are curious about traditional lead climbing, this course is for you. As you progress through your climbing ventures this is a natural choice for those that are ready for the next step. Traditional climbing uses the natural features that the rock provides. We are blessed to live in an area surrounded by some of the best long traditional climbs.

→ Hazard assessment
→ Knots and rope management
→ Top and ground anchor theory
→ Multi-pitch preparation/strategies
→ Route finding
→ Placement protection anchors
→ Belay stations and hanging belays
→ Lead climbing strategies
→ Dynamic lead belays
→ Top-down belays
→ Seconding a lead
→ Retreating from a route
→ Fixed and natural rappel anchors
→ Multi-pitch rappels
→ Basic rescue skills

Private Instruction / Guiding - Rock Climbing and Mountaineering

If you prefer a more private atmosphere sign up for a Private course. You will work either one or two persons with our instructor. We also are more than happy to guide you on many of the region’s best rock climbs. You are in good hands with our certified instructors whom have more than 25 plus years of experience instructing and guiding. Call to discuss this opportunity.

Squamish, Vancouver Island, Bella Coola, Terrace, Powell River and Skaha locations

Don’t forget to print off the waiver and medical forms for each person in the group. You will need to send these forms as well to complete the transaction.
